The majority of the work you’ll end up doing in Miro will revolve around what it calls boards, which start off as entirely blank spaces. It is best described as a multipurpose online collaboration tool, and its list of features is pretty extensive stretching beyond the typical realms of similar software. We are not planning to offer a migration of data from other note taking solutions such as Sonocent Audio Notetaker into Glean.Miro is one of those online tools that aims to bridge the gap between traditional office working and the modern hybrid routine that many of us are familiar with. Glean is an all new cloud-based solution and as such stores information differently than Audio Notetaker. Can Sonocent Audio Notetaker projects be transferred to Glean? No, the Glean subscription cost covers everything. Are there further costs for setup, training, cloud storage etc? Glean is based on a monthly subscription you can pay monthly, or pay for 1 year in advance. No, we are no longer selling Sonocent Audio Notetaker licenses. Can I still buy new licenses for Sonocent Audio Notetaker? We encourage you to try Glean which has been designed to solve the same challenges as Sonocent Audio Notetaker, but is much more flexible and easy to use and is in active development. However, you will no longer see improvements and updates to the product. You can continue to use Sonocent Audio Notetaker (so long as your Licence allows), and the product will be maintained and supported until August 2026 with ongoing support until 2027. If an update to the operating system causes Audio Notetaker to become unoperational, then we will work to resolve this within the software. Maintenance means that we will work to resolve critical bugs that affect the operation and usability of the software on supported operating systems. What does maintenance of the product involve? We are encouraging users to transition to our new software Glean over the next few years. We will continue to maintain Sonocent Audio Notetaker until August 2026 and will continue to offer support until August 2027 to allow a phased transition period, but there will be no ongoing development for Sonocent Audio Notetaker.
